All of us from Emilia Anne Studios hope you had a great Labor Day Weekend with family and friends. Labor Day Weekend is usually the last beach weekend of the year, the unofficial end to summer and your last chance to wear “White”. Well, unless you’re a bride-to-be, because then there is a whole lot more white to come as we head into the very busy fall wedding season.

I just noted on Facebook and Instagram how many weddings there was this Labor Day Weekend and now through the holidays, you can expect more of the same!

Emilia Anne Studios is excited to be getting off the ground this Labor Day weekend and look forward to showcasing some of the fall weddings about to take place across Mobile, Al and Baldwin County! The beauty of living in the South is you can continue to have beach weddings long past Labor Day Weekend.

There is something magical about the Fall as the oppressive heat and humidity comes to an end and to combine that with a fabulous beach backdrop you can really do something special. We have seen a lot of neat combinations you might try for your fall beach wedding.

In regards to color selections, you could try something bold and fun, like orange and turquoise. You can get the bold pop of orange in your flowers and bows on the ceremony chairs. The turquoise blue, you might traditionally see at a beach wedding, you can put your bridesmaids in. If the bold orange & turquoise is too much for your taste, maybe orange & grey could fit your style?

Don’t think we don’t go to Pinterest for ideas too because of course, we do! We found a FABULOUS cake design for a fall, beach wedding there. The cake was decorated with a beautiful combination of seashells and orange flowers. Two things that typically would not fit together blended so naturally in this design. This certainly would be a cake to remember.wedding-videography-mobile-alabama

If orange and traditional fall colors are just not your thing, then you can go with a rustic beach wedding. The ideas here are really endless! You can do Burlap drapery at the altar, have a Birchwood cake/cupcake display, lots of natural wood elements in the table centerpieces, and white flowers with lots of greenery. You could even serve your signature cocktails in Mason Jars & these could also be taken home as parting gifts.
If you’re a fall Bride working on getting the finishing touches of your wedding together, it’s not too late to add a videographer to capture the special day either. Emilia Anne has options to fit any budget just give us a call. We can’t wait to help!
